Our home in Staveley is ideally placed as a base for exploring the Lake District, whether you arrive by car, rail, or bus. If you come by car there is off road parking in front of the house for one car, and it is relatively easy to find additional parking nearby if needed.

There are electric radiators throughout the house and large sliding doors in the kitchen, which give access to the garden.

The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests in comfort, with a double and twin bedroom upstairs that share a bathroom, and a double bedroom downstairs with an ensuite.

There is view from the first-floor double back bedroom which extends all the way out to the Kentmere Valley, where the tops are often snow-covered in winter. The second twin bedroom is very spacious, very light, and looks out onto the The Banks Road with its early 20th century terrace houses.

The L-shaped kitchen/has 2 sofas and a table that comfortably seats 6. It has a built-in hob, oven, and microwave along with a fridge and separate freezer. The LED ceiling lights and roof lanterns along with the sliding glass doors make it a very light room and the doors when open bring the outside in on long summer days.

There is also a utility room which is adjacent to the kitchen with access to a downstairs toilet.

The rear garden has a grassy area with a flower border and an apple tree, beyond that is a shed and a vegetable plot. There is also a patio area with a table and chairs for 6 to sit out on nicer days. The garden can be accessed by a path down the side of the house, or from the kitchen through the sliding glass doors.
